Monique Z. Valbuena

MONIQUE Z. VALBUENA is an associate at the Wilmington law firm of Gordon, Fournaris and Mammarella, P.A.  She received her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University (1993) and her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center (1996).

Monique is admitted to practice in the State of Delaware and the District of Columbia and before the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.  She is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association as well as the Estates and Trusts Section of the Delaware State Bar Association. Monique’s practice focuses on all aspects of Delaware trust law, including directed trusts, dynasty trusts, asset protection trusts and all aspects of the validity, construction and administration of Delaware trusts.  In addition, Monique has extensive experience in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, general corporate law and business counseling in connection with issues involving entity formation and governance.  In addition to her legal expertise, Monique has served as General Manager and Director of Operations for several prominent restaurants and restaurant groups in New York City and the Caribbean.

Monique resides in Wilmington, Delaware with her son, Quentin, and daughter, Anya.
