Robert A. Penza

ROBERT A. PENZA is a Director at the Wilmington law firm of Gordon, Fournaris & Mammarella, P.A.  He received his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University and his Juris Doctorate from Villanova University School of Law.  He was admitted to the Delaware bar in 1989, the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware in 1990 and the U.S. Supreme Court in 2004.  He is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association and the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association.

Robert is also a member of the Trust Litigation Group in the American Bar Association Section of Real Property, Trust & Estate Law.

Robert’s practice focuses on complex civil, commercial and fiduciary litigation primarily in the Delaware Court of Chancery.  Robert has extensive litigation experience representing institutional and individual trustees and beneficiaries in trust litigation.  He also litigates in Federal Court and all other State Courts.  Robert is highly skilled at reaching amicable resolutions to contentious disputes.  He has often served as Arbitrator for the Superior Court’s required Alternative Dispute Resolution, and has been selected by the Delaware Court of Chancery to serve as a Receiver.

Robert resides in Wilmington, Delaware with his wife, Elizabeth, and daughter, Victoria.
