MICHELE M. SUBERS advises individuals and families on estate planning that achieves their personal and financial goals and calmly navigates the estate administration process.

Thinking about the immediate and long-term impact of your passing can be a difficult but important process. Michele sensitively guides her clients through all of the considerations at this time and creates estate plans that protect loved ones, distribute wealth, minimize taxes, and achieve the personal or philanthropic goals of the client. She prepares wills, powers of attorney, trust agreements, healthcare directives tailored to the needs of each client.

In her estate administration practice, Michele advises clients on the legal requirements and practical issues after the death of a loved one. She handles all stages of the probate of a will and coordinates with accountants and tax advisors to ensure that any tax filings are completed correctly and timely. Michele also advises on the distribution and transfer of assets in accordance with the instructions of the decedent and counsels trustees, executors, and administrators on their legal and fiduciaries duties.

Michele has a broad foundation in Delaware law. Prior to establishing a trusts and estates practice, she advocated for litigants in employment, insurance, and other disputes, earning awards for her skills in employment and labor law. Now, she draws on her extensive experience to guide clients through their own challenging times, anticipating and overcoming obstacles to provide attentive and reliable representation to Delaware families.
