CHRISTINA M. SMITH is an associate in the Private Wealth practice at Gordon, Fournaris & Mammarella, P.A., where she assists clients with a wide range of trust, estate, and tax matters. She brings a strong academic foundation in taxation, extensive research and writing experience, and hands-on advocacy skills that support clients and fiduciaries navigating complex estate planning and administration issues.
While earning her J.D. at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law—where she is also completing her LL.M. in Taxation—Christina served as a Student Attorney with the Villanova Low-Income Federal Tax Clinic, acting as the primary advocate for six clients. She handled audits, examinations, administrative appeals, and collection matters before the IRS and the United States Tax Court. Christina also gained valuable insight into appellate decision-making as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Daniel McCaffery of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Christina further strengthened her analytical and writing skills as a Staff Writer for the Jeffrey S. Moorad Sports Law Journal.
Christina is a published co-author in the ABA Probate & Property Magazine, contributing articles exploring historical wills, undue influence, and the evolution of inheritance law.
Before attending law school, Christina graduated summa cum laude from West Chester University of Pennsylvania with dual B.A. degrees in Political Science (International Relations) and Languages and Cultures (Spanish), along with minors in Latin American Studies and International Business. She also volunteered with Fundación Luna, an animal welfare organization in Salamanca, Spain.
