MADELINE R. SILVERMAN is an associate attorney with a practice focused on corporate, commercial, and fiduciary litigation.
Madeline represents individuals and businesses in corporate litigation in the Delaware courts. She is adept at handling a wide variety of disputes from control disputes and corporate governance issues to breaches of fiduciary duties and section 220 inspection demands. Her clients include shareholders, directors and officers, as well as corporations, LLCs, LPs, and other business entities from a broad spectrum of industries.
As a commercial litigator, Madeline advocates for local, national, and global clients in complex litigation relating to asset purchase agreements, buy/sell agreements, non-compete and trade secret disputes, and non-solicitation agreements. Whether in negotiations, depositions, arbitration, or in court, she is diligently prepared and laser focused on achieving the best results for her clients.
Madeline also advises Delaware trustees involved in fiduciary litigation, such as breach of fiduciary duty claims and petitions for interpretation of trust. In this role, she helps individual and corporate trustees from around the country and the world, administer high value trusts efficiently, in good faith, and in accordance with Delaware’s unique trust law.
Before coming to GF&M, Madeline captained the Division I women’s golf team at Boston University. As her reputation grows in the Delaware legal community, she is becoming as feared an adversary in the courtroom as she is on the golf course.
